WWII is a freeware compilation from several different books, cd-roms
and web sites. In an effort to keep file size down not all sub topics will
have a photo from the actual event (for example in the N. Africa sub topic
German tanks are shown rolling into Poland). The application won't tell a
military historian anything they dont already know but is a useful tool for
those learning about the conflict for the first time or anyone wanting to
learn more about the largest conflict in the history of warfare. Some of
the information contained within to this day and beyond will remain
controversial and alternative points of view can be found at libraries
and on the internet, the user is encouraged to research on their own and
come to an informed opinion. Finally the program is dedicated to all
veterans of WWII and those maintaining WWII websites to help insure the
21st century will not forget. Please send any comments or bug reports to
